A way to learn the five most popular technologies for creating dynamic Web pages:
- HTML version 5 for content
- CSS Level 3 for style
- JavaScript (actually ECMAScript v5 and onwards) to make things happen on screen
- PHP version 5.6 to create pages and manipulate data
- SQL (aimed at MariaDB or MySQL) to save and retrieve the data
Between them they are capable of creating almost any site on the Web. You will learn by doing a series of tasks starting with simple and working up to whatever level you want.
Within minutes you can have Web pages, within hours you should know what you are doing. It might take a bit longer to be able to do it for a living but you can get there if you want to.
